Here you will find supporting documents to understand and apply Digg’s guidelines for open source software. The material is in the first instance produced for Digg, but most parts work equally well for other public-sector actors. The content is under a free licence — free to reuse, modify and share.

Working on GitHub

The first guide to read if you are new to working on Digg’s GitHub spaces. Information on accounts and two-factor authentication, roles and permissions, issue handling, and much else.

Checklists

Checklists for different roles (developers, maintainers, procurement officers, security leads, etc.) covering procurement, publication, security, licensing and stewardship.

A starting structure for new open projects with community files, security scanning and licence conventions pre-configured. Copy, adapt, publish.
